Tangutur: The YSR Congress Party president YS Jaganmohan Reddy termed the assembly election as the war between duty and depravity, the war between values, credibility and deceitful politics. He participated in a public meeting held in Tangutur of Kondapi assembly constituency in Prakasam district on Wednesday.
Speaking at the meeting, Jaganmohan Reddy alleged that the Telugu Desam Party has not fulfilled any promises made before the 2014 elections and neglected the promises made after N Chandrababu Naidu became the chief minister. He listed out the promises made by the government to Prakasam district including the Donakonda Industrial Mega Hub, Mining University, Veterinary University, Horticulture University, NIMZ at Kanigiri, Ramayapatnam port, Veligonda project, food park, airport at Ongole, Smart City project etc and said that the students of Ongole IIIT are suffering in Idupulapaya IIIT.
He said that after Chandrababu Naidu assuming charge as chief minister, there were no jobs, no zero interest loans to women, no minimum support price for the produce by farmers, no fees reimbursement, no loan waiver, no funds for the arogyasri program provided in the state. He said that six lakh people from the district have migrated to other places and public are selling their assets for treatment of diseases like chronic kidney disease.
Jaganmohan Reddy advised the public to be careful with Chandrababu and his laying foundation for projects like Ramayapatnam port or increasing pensions just before elections. He asked the public to chose between the leader with credibility or leader who lies daily and cheats them. He alleged that the Chandrababu Naidu will stoop down and even utilizes the police department to distribute money before the polling.
He asked the attendees of the meeting to go to their places and inform the brothers and sisters, farmers and old aged people that Jaganmohan Reddy will form government in 20days to provide free education to children, waive the DWCRA loans in four instalments, give Rs 75000 to women who attained age of 45 years in four instalments, Rs 12500 for the farmers under 'Raitu Bharosa' program as capital infusion for agriculture and old-age pensions are increased from Rs 2000 to Rs 3000 immediately after forming the government.
Jaganmohan Reddy introduced the Kondapi assembly candidate Dr Madasi Venkaiah, Ongole MP candidate Magunta Srinivasulu Reddy and party symbol, Fan to the public and asked them to vote for credibility in politics.
