Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Chairman BR Naidu met Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and invited him to the forthcoming Srivari Salakatla Brahmotsavams in Tirumala. On Saturday, TTD Chairman and EO along with board of Directors members Jyothula Nehru, Panabaka Lakshmi and Janaki Devi called on the Chief Minister at his camp office in Undavalli. On this occasion, the Vedic scholars of TTD blessed the Chief Minister with Vedic mantras.
In the meanwhile, the Chief Minister talked to the Chairman and EO of TTD about the arrangements for the Srivari Brahmotsavams. He made advise for the officials regarding the conduct of the Brahmotsavam, as well as instructions to ensure amenities are made available to the devotees. The Srivari Salakatla Brahmotsavams of Tirumala will take place from September 15 to 23, while Navaratri Brahmotsavams are planned from October 12 to 20.
Special measures have been taken by TTD to ensure devotees have no trouble during the time of Brahmotsavams. It may be noted that TTD has brought out a booklet giving details of various Vahana Sevas, special rituals and important events during Salakatla Brahmotsavams.
