Two farmers committed suicide in kadapa district
In a separate incide incidents two farmers in committed Suicide by consuming poisonous pills as they were not able to pay the outstandings to the banks in Pulivendula constituency on Friday.
Kadapa: In a separate incide incidents two farmers in committed Suicide by consuming poisonous pills as they were not able to pay the outstandings to the banks in Pulivendula constituency on Friday. The deceased were identified as K. Siva Lakshmi Reddy (52) Paluru village of Tonduru mandal, R Venkata Narayana Reddy Chintala juturu village of Vemula mandal.
This tragic incident was around 8:45 PM with the villagers noticed them died lying in their fields. According to the sources the deceased have borrowed loans from private money lenders, and banks for cultivation purpose in the present Kharief season.
But following prevalence of sevior dry spell conditions leads their crops dried up as they incurred huge crop losses. Un bearable borrowings forced farmers to take such extreme step.
Meanwhile as many as 10 farmers have committed suicide in the same manner for the couple of months in the district.
