Two students from Prakasam dead by drowning in Ganga river at Bihar

Ongole: Two students from the Prakasam district drowned to death in the Ganga river at Bhagalpur, near Patna of Bihar state. The two persons, Bonagiri Venkata Sai Kiran of Addanki and Phani Teja of Darsi in the Prakasam district are first-year students at IIIT Bhagalpur.
According to sources, the two students along with their friends went to the Ganga river on Saturday evening and drowned deep into waters. Sai Kiran and Phani Teja lost control due to the over flow of the water, while the three others managed to reach the shore safely.
The locals tried to rescue the two youth immediately, but their efforts are not successful. The Bihar state disaster response team is conducting a search operation for the drowned students on Sunday while the local police informed the parents of the students in the Prakasam district and they started to Bihar immediately.
