As the third phase of lockdown is due to end on May 17 and the Andhra Pradesh government focussing on the ease of lockdown, most of the temples are making arrangements to reopen darahans for the devotees in the temples. The TTD has already started this kind of drill for Srivari Darshan in Tirumala where the trust board has decided to allow 7000 pilgrims for darshan's. Meanwhile, the same arrangements are being made for the Durgaamma Darshan on Vijayawada's Indrakeeladri temple.

The authorities are making arrangements to meet the rules in compliance with the corona regulations while allowing devotees into the temple. It is said that the temple officials have decided to make Devotees of the temple are to observe the rules when visiting the temple such as following the physical distance.

On the other hand, it is learnt that the tickets must be booked online to visit the temples and guidelines have been issued to book a time slot through a mobile phone. Temple officials are making arrangements to book the slot 24 hours in advance. Officials are planning to allow devotees only from 6 am to 6 pm and taking measures to allow 250 devotees per hour.

Devotees will be informed about the time of darshan in the form of messages. However, officials said that the Antharalayam vision, chantagopam and theertham distribution were halted.
