Vizag: Revenue officer booked for accepting bribe
A village revenue officer in Seethanagaram mandal is booked by ACB for accepting bribe from a farmer to issue pattadar passbook .
A village revenue officer in Seethanagaram mandal is booked by ACB for accepting bribe from a farmer to issue pattadar passbook . DSP of ACB, BV Nageswara Rao informed that
R.Balaram working as VRO in Burja village of Seethanagaram mandal , Vizianagaram district. Dasari Bhaskara Rao of same village approached him to issue Pattadar Passbook along with Adangal for his land.
The VRO has demanded huge money to do the official favor and the applicant requested him to reduce the bribe amount but he didn't listen to him. Finally Bhaskara Rao approached the ACB and as per their advise, he handed over the cash Rs.9500 in Tahadildar office. Meanwhile, the ACB teams entered into the room and caught him red-handed. Case is booked and started investigation.
