A senior engineering official and his two subordinates were seriously injured when a private bus hit the car in which they were travelling
Vizianagaram: A senior engineering official and his two subordinates were seriously injured when a private bus hit the car in which they were travelling. The mishap occurred at the Collector' office junction on Sunday evening.
Traffic Sub-Inspector P Bhaskar Naidu informed that PLN Prasad, Superintending Engineer (SE) of Rural Water Supply (RWS) wing, and K Simhachalam, assistant engineer, were returning from Bhogapuram and were moving towards the Collector's office.
When they reached the Collector's office junction, the bus going in the same direction hit the car. The two engineers along with car driver S Sankar sustained injuries and they were immediately rushed to the nearby M R general hospital. The driver of the bus is absconding. The police reached the place and cleared the traffic. A case has been registered.
