Tirupati: Voter awareness vehicle was flagged off by Tirupati Sub Collector and Chandragiri Returning Officer Dr R Mahesh Kumar here on Friday. The vehicle was aimed at creating awareness among voters to cast their vote to fulfil their responsibilities as citizens on April 11. Speaking on the occasion, Dr Mahesh Kumar said that people should use c-Vigil app and help the authorities in conducting free and fair polls.

If anyone find the distribution of cash or any other material to influence voters, then they can report through this mobile app by sending photos or videos so that the authorities will reach there within 100 minutes. Voter enrolment was completed on March 15.

The authorities have introduced Chandragiri Constituency call centre with number 0877-2970959 along with 1950 number. People can call these numbers and clear any doubts regarding elections. He requested the people to go to their polling booths on April 11 and exercise their franchise to help increase the voting percentage. The awareness vehicle will go around Yerravaripalem, Chinna Gottigallu, Pakala, Chandragiri, Tirupati Rural and Tirupati Urban mandals.
