Woman commits suicide over dispute with her husband in Chittoor
In a tragic incident, a woman committed suicide after a slight financial dispute with her husband in Nethigundlapally in Chittoor district on Tuesday.
In a tragic incident, a woman committed suicide after a slight financial dispute with her husband in Nethigundlapally in Chittoor district on Tuesday. According to locals, the couple who are residing in the village had a school going, son. The wife has been granted Rs. 15,000 under the Amna Vodi scheme launched by the Andhra Pradesh government.
The drunkard husband who got to know about the money has taken a quarrel with her wife Adilakshmi. Going into distress over her husband's act, Adilakshmi took the final plunge and committed suicide by consuming insecticide at home.
She was immediately rushed to the government hospital by locals. However, Adilakshmi died while being treated in the hospital. Family members expressed their grief over the incident. The police registered a case and investigation is on.
