YS Avinash Reddy appears before ED in YS Viveka murder case
In Short
As part of this investigation, the ED has already questioned several accused persons, witnesses, and approvers

YSRCP MP YS Avinash Reddy
Y.S. Avinash Reddy—the Kadapa MP and a senior YSRCP leader—appeared for questioning at the ED's Hyderabad office.
It is well known that the ED is investigating allegations regarding significant financial transactions and fund transfers that took place before and after Vivekananda Reddy's murder. The agency is specifically probing allegations that a deal worth ₹40 crore was struck to carry out the killing. In accordance with the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), the ED is working to trace the financial trails of individuals involved in the case, proceeding based on key details from the FIR and charge sheets filed by the CBI.
As part of this investigation, the ED has already questioned several accused persons, witnesses, and approvers. The agency has focused its scrutiny on bank and digital transactions conducted over the past few years. Previously, ED teams carried out extensive searches in Hyderabad, Kadapa, and other locations in connection with the case, seizing key documents, digital evidence, and unaccounted cash.
The summoning and questioning of Kadapa MP Avinash Reddy by the ED in this case has created a sensation. There is a possibility that the information gathered during Avinash Reddy's questioning will be cross-verified with evidence collected earlier. Reports also suggest that the ED might summon other prominent figures for questioning in connection with this case.
