YS Jagan alleges scam in DSC 2025, demands CBI probe
In Short
YSRCP chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has alleged large-scale irregularities in Mega DSC-2025 recruitment and demanded a CBI probe. He accused the Andhra Pradesh government of favoritism, bogus certificates, reservation violations, and recruitment malpractice, while seeking Education Minister Nara Lokesh’s resignation.

Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy
YSR Congress Party President Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy accused the Mega DSC-2025 recruitment of being a huge scam that cheated the jobless youth and honest applicants. During the press meet in Vijayawada, the leader exposed crucial evidence about the irregularities in the recruitment of DSC. He demanded a CBI probe into the scam and urged Education Minister Nara Lokesh to resign as he failed to take responsibility for the irregularities.
In this regard, Jagan said there has been no such instance in the history of the state’s DSC recruitment where both the question paper setting and supervision charges were entrusted to one person as done by the government. He added that per Government Orders (GOs) 4 and 47, posts were given on a sports quota without any examination, and the orders were later cancelled. Further, he alleged that bogus certificates in the name of sports associations for judo, softball, and others were also issued to bogus candidates for recruitment.
He alleged that the government has been biased towards giving jobs to the candidates who did not qualify for TET (Teacher Eligibility Test), incorrect marks, and violation of the norms of caste-based reservation and EWS (Economically Weaker Sections) benefits. He also said a similar move was made to fill up the posts of the Forest Department by APPSC under the sports quota without examination, but the irregularities were exposed later, and the scam was stopped. “The people in higher posts are involved in this scam, and the truth will not come out on probing by a government agency,” he alleged and demanded a CBI probe into the DSC scam.
