Hyderabad: Six Telugu business tycoons figured in 2019 Edelgive Hurun India Philanthropy List 2019 announced by Hurun Report on Monday.
P V Ram Prasad Reddy, co-founder and Non-Executive Director of Hyderabad-based major Aurobindo Pharma Ltd, top the list among Telugus with an overall rank of 44.
He donated Rs 18 crore for social causes. With a rank of 45, Murali K Divi and family, who give Rs 15 crore for charity and social causes, stood second among Telugus in the list.
Other Telugus in the list include B Parthasaradhi Reddy of Hetero Drugs (73rd place, Rs 9 cr donations), C Visweswara Rao of Navayuga Engineering (80 rank, Rs 7 cr donations), K Satish Reddy of Dr Reddy's Laboratories (85th place, Rs 6 cr), and B Vamsi Krishna of Hetero Drugs (85th, Rs 6 cr).
