Alia Bhatt Eyes Big Tollywood Comeback with Three Major Projects

Bollywood’s ace actress Alia Bhatt is in the best phase of her career. Along with headlining female-centric films, she is also collaborating with some of the industry's biggest stars on prestigious projects. As of now, she is part of Love & War and Tumbbad 2 movies in Bollywood. And coming to Tollywood, she already shared the screen space with Ram Charan in Rajamouli’s RRR movie. And now, she is making her comeback to Telugu film industry with three big projects.

Yesterday itself, we mentioned that Alia Bhatt is in talks to join Junior NTR and Prashant Neel’s Dragon movie. If this speculation turns true, then it will be their second collaboration after RRR. Although they had very few scenes together in Jakkanna’s RRR, now, they will once again share the screen. However, Dragon already has Rukmini Vasanth as its female lead. If Alia joins the cast, it remains to be seen what role she will play.

As of now, Junior NTR is currently recovering from his shoulder injury and will resume the shooting for Dragon once he is completely recovered. This movie is scheduled to hit the theatres in 2027.

Secondly, Alia Bhatt is also set to play a key role in Nag Ashwin and Prabhas’s Kalki 2. As Deepika made her exit from this sequel, netizens speculated that she will be replaced by natural beauty Sai Pallavi. On the other hand, Alia Bhatt is also roped in to essay a prominent role in this movie. Nag Ashwin already made it clear that Kalki 2 universe will be a bigger one than the prequel, so there will be many more roles needed to handle the story.

Being a fantasy sci-fi tale that connects Ashwathama and Karna to God Kalki, we need to wait and watch how will the villain Supreme Yaskin stop them from reaching the lead actress who carries Kalki in her womb. This movie also has an ensemble cast of Kamal Haasan, Amitabh Bachchan, Prabhas, Shobana and Vijay Deverakonda.

And finally, Alia Bhatt is also being considered for the lead role in a straight Telugu Film alongside a prominent Tollywood Hero. And the announcement regarding this project might surprise many.
