Cricket, music and youthful energy take centre stage in ‘HIGH’
A mix of cricket, music, friendship and youthful energy sets the mood for ‘HIGH’, the upcoming film marking the directorial debut of S Krishna. Known for his association with filmmaker Anil Ravipudi and his work as a co-writer on several successful films, Krishna is now taking on multiple responsibilities as the director, writer and actor in the project. He also co-produces the film along with Harish Peddi and Sekhar Divvela.
The makers recently released the promotional song ‘Dammulunte’, choosing a lively cricket-themed concept to introduce the film’s energetic mood. Featuring the lead cast, the video captures moments of fun, celebration and camaraderie, offering a glimpse into the youthful spirit of ‘HIGH’. Rather than following a conventional promotional format, the team has brought together music and cricket to create an entertaining visual experience.
One of the highlights of the song is Roll Rida’s energetic rap, which blends well with Vikas Badisa’s upbeat composition and pulsating rhythms. The lyrics add to the youthful appeal, while the colourful visuals and lively choreography make the number an engaging musical treat.
Produced under the banners of Imagespark Entertainment and Myra Creations, ‘HIGH’ features Ananya Sharma, S Krishna, Pallavi Dora, Krishna Kamal, Sai Krishna and Revanth (Bulliraju) in significant roles.
Beyond its energetic presentation, the film explores the different ways people pursue happiness, pleasure and excitement. Each character follows a distinct path, bringing together parallel journeys that examine the emotional, psychological and moral aspects of human choices.
The technical team includes Mallu Nayak and Suneel Reddy as cinematographers, Vikas Badisa as music composer, GRK Saran Ravula as editor and V Venkat as action choreographer. With its mix of drama, emotions and youthful entertainment, ‘HIGH’ is gearing up to offer audiences a distinctive cinematic experience.
