Ace director R Murugadoss released new stills from 'Darbar,' his upcoming film with Superstar Rajinikanth. The 69-year-old Tamil star looks stylish as ever in the new posters.

Now, AR Murugadoss and the makers of 'Darbar' have come up with a clever strategy to promote the film.

In a tweet, the director asked fans of Rajinikanth to come up with unique poster designs using the two stills and declared that the best works will be selected and used officially for the film promotions. Seconds after the release of the stills, the tweet received thousands of likes and retweets.

Rajinikanth is playing a police officer in 'Darbar,' which is set in Mumbai. The film has Nayanathara in the female lead role. Nawab Shah, Suniel Shetty and Prateik Babbar are other actors in this action flick.

There is a lot of hype surrounding 'Darbar' and it features Rajinikanth as a cop after two decades. It is also rumoured that the superstar will be seen in two roles in the film. However, there has been no official announcement on the same.

Bankrolled by Lyca Productions, 'Darbar' is the next big project in Tamil for Rajinikanth. His last film 'Petta' wowed Tamil viewers across the world.
