South Indian industry is making all the preparations for the remake of Super hit Bollywood movie "Andha dhun" which was released in 2018.
South Indian industry is making all the preparations for the remake of Super hit Bollywood movie "Andha dhun" which was released in 2018. Producers are gearing up to produce this movie in Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam languages. As per the available details, Malayalam actor Prithvi Raj Sukumaran will be seen in the role played by Ayushman Khurrana. The remake will be directed by Ravi K Chandran.
A Malayalam daily has revealed some details about the movie. The negative character played by Tabu may be enacted by Mamatha Mohan Das. Ahaana Krishna is possibly taking up the role played by Radhika Apte, it is being said. It may be recalled that these two are the most prominent characters in the movie.
Neither Prithvi Raj Sukumaran nor Ravi K Chandran has officially spoken about this project. However, buzz has it that the movie will commence in the month of January 2021. Next year, Prithvi Raj is said to have signed up for another big project. Actor and producer Thyagaraj who will be bankrolling the Tamil version of this movie. We already told you that he has approached Prashanth and Aishwarya Rai to act in this movie. Nithiin, Ramya Krishna, and Keerthy Suresh names are being heard for the Telugu version of the movie.
It may be recalled that "Andhadhun" which was directed by Shri Ram Raghavan won national awards in three categories during 2019, for best Hindi film, best Actor, and best Screenplay. We hear that shooting of the Telugu version has already started.
