Rahul Sankrityan Pens A Lovely Note For His Dear Jayamma From Ranabali

It is well known that Tollywood ace actors Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna’s Ranabali movie is scheduled to hit the theatres on 16th October, 2026. As the release date is nearing, the makers also entered the final leg of its shoot. Of late, even Rashmika also wrapped up her part and shared the same on social media.

The makers also shared a beautiful BTS video of Rashmika’s last day shoot and showcased Rashmika flaunting her baby bump. Rashmika as Jayamma already upped the expectations through the teaser.

This post reads, “While writing #Ranabaali, I found myself walking down memory lanes for every little detail of its world. And when I sat down to write my female protagonist, I began with something deeply personal, I gave her my mother’s name. Jayamma. Through every emotion she goes through, I took utmost care to make sure she remains a woman who could inspire the women of today, even though she belongs to another time. And then we adorned her world with beautiful silks and cottons, zari and vintage colours, antique gold and all the warmth of a time gone by. She is the love in Ranabaali’s heart. The spirit in his soul. The grit in his spine. And the sweetness in his madness. Then came @iamRashmika. She didn’t just make Jayamma real. She made her eternal for all of us. The makers also unveiled the teaser a few days ago and highlighted the glimpses of the main plot. They showcased how cruelly British officers and rulers left our Indians to die by making them starved. They killed, raped and brutally kicked our people who tried to oppose them. It’s seemed to be a next-to-impossible task for them to at least pick a handful of food grains. Mummy actor Arnold Vosloo once again made us go jaw dropped with his intense and deadly looks and made us hate his character by killing our people ruthlessly.

Here enters our freedom fighter, Ranabali who takes a toll on the British officers for making our people starve. His anger, rage and fight for his people made him look amazing and on the other hand Rashmika Mandanna as Jayamma also fought equally and is seen supporting her husband in all possible ways.

Ranabali movie is being helmed by Rahul Sankrityan and is produced by Ravi Shankar and Naveen Yerneni under the Mythri Movie Makers banner. This most-awaited movie will hit the big screens on 16th October, 2026.
