‘Anumana Pakshi’ trailer: A quirky ride
Siddhu Jonnalagadda has released the theatrical trailer of the upcoming quirky entertainer Anumana Pakshi, directed by Vimal Krishna, who made a striking debut with DJ Tillu. Starring Rag Mayur and Merin Philip as the leads, the film is slated to release on September 18.
The trailer introduces us to Sunny, a man who finds it impossible to take things at face value. Constant overthinking lands him into several hilarious situations as he suspects everyone and everything around him. It gets twisted as he falls head over heels in Kashmir, meeting a girl and falling in love. It gets more twisted as he is chased by a police officer. What happened in Kashmir and why is the police chasing him makes for the crux of the mystery.
Rag Mayur fits into the skin of Sunny exceptionally well, adding a whole lot of comic relief with his impeccable comic timing. Merin Philip makes a lovely co-star as Sunny’s love in Kashmir, with whom he shares great chemistry. Ajay adds an unexpected comic relief as Sunny’s friend, despite playing the role of a serious character. Raasi, Prince Cecil, Anannayaa, Charith and Brahmaji each bring their A-game to their roles.
The beauty of Kashmir is captured exceptionally well by the cinematographer, Sunil Kumar Nama. Sricharan Pakala’s music is perfect as we delve into this quirky, funny world. JK Murthy handles the art direction and Chota K. Prasad handles the editing.
Presented by Chilaka Productions, this film has been produced by Rajiv Chilaka, Rajesh Jagtiani and Hirachand Dand.
