‘Haiku’ locks Oct 23 release; Kona Venkat showers love

The romantic entertainer ‘Haiku’ starring Aegan, Sridevi of Court fame and Femina George is all set to hit the screens on October 23. Written and directed by Yuvaraj Chinnasamy, the film is produced by Dr. D. Arulanandu and Mathew Arulanandu under the Vision Cinema House banner.

Speaking on the occasion of the film’s press meet in Hyderabad, writer-producer Kona Venkat said that Haiku is a fresh, genuine love story capturing the college fun.

Director Ram Jagadeesh appreciated the final outcome of the film and expressed confidence that younger generation would relate to it. Sridevi said that the story attracted her instantly and added that the film touches upon relationship woes of lovers and married couples. Debutant Aegan expressed his confidence on the project and complimented music director Sidhu Kumar. The team hopes that Haiku would connect well with the audience with its emotional quotient when it releases in theatres.
