‘Karikaala’ gets a grand launch; promises fantasy adventure

Sundeep Kishan’s upcoming film Karikaala is all set to witness a grand launch as the star makes it big on the screens with a fantasy entertainer that promises to bring the childhood fairy tales to life. The pan-India socio-fantasy entertainer got launched in a traditional pooja ceremony recently, as the makers take the project that has been conceptualized on an altogether new scale.

Ugandhar Muni directed and Mahidhar Reddy and Rajashekhar Annabhimoju produced this Shining Pictures venture, which promises to bring alive the magical Chandamama world and uses modern special effects to recreate the mythical, fantasy, adventure, and social elements in the movie.

Moreover, the makers of ‘Karikaala’ have already given a sneak peek into the film with the announcement of their title and an interesting first-look poster. The poster showcases Sundeep Kishan as a warrior while Catherine Tresa, Sakkshi Mhadolkar, and Gayatri Bhardwaj are the leading ladies.

It aims to create a larger-than-life mythical world for the audience with its fantasy elements, powers, mythical beasts, and ancient kingdoms that are entirely different from the already existing realms of mythological movies.

The director Ugandhar Muni, who delivered Shambhala, is now gearing up to take on a much bigger project. The film is estimated to be a two-part series with Karikaala chapter 1 set to release worldwide on 2 nd July 2027. The second chapter will hit the screens on 28 th October 2027. It will be available in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi languages.
