Shilpa Shetty’s little reminder is to appreciate the world around us

Actress Shilpa Shetty has used the occasion of the World Environmental Health Day to remind people that nature, its health and the wellbeing of the environment around us are closely linked. The actress urged her followers to slow down, observe the world around them and enjoy all the beauty that can be found in everyday life.

Shilpa shared a gallery of photos and videos from her recent foreign trip on her Instagram story. She also shared her thoughts on the simple things in nature that inspire and fill you with a feeling of wellbeing – the changing skies, flowers, running water, trees and sunsets that we often take for granted.

The actress also emphasizes the importance of taking care of the environment, since human health and the health of our planet are directly related. Shilpa’s message came as the World Environmental Health Day was celebrated to raise awareness of the environmental impact on human health.

In terms of career, Shilpa Shetty’s latest work is the film Sukhee, directed by Sonal Joshi. In the film, the actress plays Sukhpreet “Sukhee” Kalra, a 38-year-old Punjabi housewife who goes to Delhi for a school reunion and meets her younger self.

Shilpa also appeared in the film KD: The Devil, directed by Prem, with Dhruva Sarja, Sanjay Dutt, V. Ravichandran, Ramesh Aravind, Reeshma Nanaiah, Jisshu Sengupta and Nora Fatehi.
