IIM Bangalore to host three-day business & entrepreneurship festival

PGP and PGPBA students of the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB) will host VENIX 2026, an international business and entrepreneurship festival, from August 7 to 9, 2026, at the IIMB campus. The three-day event will bring together students, business leaders, entrepreneurs, investors, policymakers, startups and academics. VENIX was created through the merger of IIMB’s international business summit, Vista, and entrepreneurship summit, Eximius. The 2026 edition, themed ‘Nexus of Possibilities’, has received nearly 40,000 registrations, according to the organisers.

The festival will feature more than 35 national-level competitions across areas including consulting, finance, marketing, strategy, analytics, operations, entrepreneurship and product management. The programme will also include keynote sessions, CXO talks, workshops, masterclasses, startup showcases, investor interactions, networking sessions and cultural performances.

A key component of the festival will be the Young Leaders Summit (YLS), which will bring together students for leadership workshops, business simulations, mentorship opportunities and interactions with industry professionals. The Young Entrepreneurs Summit (YES) will focus on entrepreneurship and provide a platform for founders, venture capitalists, startup mentors and aspiring entrepreneurs to discuss venture creation, scaling and innovation. The event will also include workshops and masterclasses focused on practical skills. One session, titled ‘PM × AI: Mastering AI-First Product Management’, will introduce participants to AI-led product development through case studies and product-development frameworks. Another masterclass will focus on approaches to business and case competitions, including structured problem-solving methods used in consulting and corporate environments.

The festival will conclude with Pro-Night, featuring singer-songwriter Arjun Kanungo. Through competitions, learning sessions, industry interactions and entrepreneurship-focused activities, VENIX 2026 will provide students with opportunities to engage with business and technology-related themes while connecting with peers and professionals.
