Upskilling and reskilling working professionals in blockchain learning
EMURGO Academy, an education arm of EMURGO, has announced the launch of EMURGO AcademyWorkPro – a blockchain training program for working professionals in Hyderabad on Wednesday.
Hyderabad: EMURGO Academy, an education arm of EMURGO, has announced the launch of EMURGO AcademyWorkPro – a blockchain training program for working professionals in Hyderabad on Wednesday. EMURGO Academy is planning to launch the program by end-November 2019 and is targeting to train 200 professionals in the initial stage. EMURGO Academy also intends to expand the same in the near future. To train the college students, EMURGO Academy is planning to associate with three leading colleges in Hyderabad.
EMURGO AcademyWorkPro is a flexible and comprehensive Blockchain Learning Program for working professionals to upskill or re-skill them and to build competency for mainstream blockchain opportunities. These programs will be offered in the weekends to enable professionals to avail maximum benefit without compromising on their regular work schedule. To increase awareness among techies on blockchain and its applications, the academy is also offering introductory sessions. The second level is an extensive developer-builder course which is meant for the IT professionals with prior programing skills. Working professionals with programing skills of 2 to 15 years can enroll for EMURGO AcademyWorkPro course.
Commenting on the EMURGO AcademyWorkPro, E Venkatesan, CEO, EMURGO Academy said, "For this program, we leverage on EMURGO's expertise in blockchain R&D as well as its global network of blockchain and industry partners. Our in-house experts draw up unique concept-based curriculum which will be delivered through synergetic platform. Also, to support entrepreneurial path, WorkPro provides a platform to showcase innovative ideas on a global forum through international conferences and supports it with accelerator programs. In 2018, EMURGO started their accelerator program and the same will be extended to India this year". EMURGO Academy has already partnered with 5 colleges in Karnataka and Coimbatore in the last few months and is training over 150 students. More than 500 registered students are awaiting their next classes.
