The Karnataka Textbook Association was asked to submit a report to the Commissioner of Public Education Department on the matter.

"The Mantralaya Sreekshetra Swamiji telephoned me and expressed the sentiments of the Brahmin community. I am hereby telling everyone that action will be taken to correct the blunder which has been committed so long ago, but now it has come to light," the minister said.
