Tenali Ramakrishna BA BL Movie Review & Rating
Young hero Sundeep Kishan essays the role of a lawyer for the new movie Tenali Ramakrishna Ba Bl. Hansika Motwani played the leading lady while Varalakshmi Sarathkumar played the lead antagonist in the movie. G Nageswar Reddy directs the movie and Murali Sharma, Ayyappa P Sharma, Raghu Babu, Prabhas Seenu and others played key roles in the film. The film releases today and check out the review here.
Story:
Tenali Ramakrishna (Sundeep) is a lawyer who is looking for a big case that gives him a huge name and fame. Around the same time, he comes across a case that involves a mass leader Varalakshmi (Varalakshmi) and a local gangster Naidu (Ayyappa). TenalI Ramakrishna takes up the case and helps Varalakshmi win the case. But, he comes to know that he actually did the wrong thing. What made him think like that? What wrong did he do? What happens in the end? Forms the story of the film.
Performances:
When compared to his previous movies, Sundeep Kishan played an entertaining role in this movie. We can say that Sundeep Kishan has carried the movie on his shoulders with so much energy. The way he presented the role is worth appreciating. Hansika Motwani grabbed the attention of her glamour. Varalaxmi Sarathkumar is one of the finest actresses and she has proved the same again with her performance in the movie. Murali Sharma acted well. Vennela Kishore, Prabhas Srinu, Saptagiri, and Raghu Babu's comedy worked out well. Posani Krishna Murali and Annapurna are also good in the film. The rest of the actors also delivered decent performances in the film.
Technical Aspects:
Director G Nageswara Reddy succeeded in preparing a good story. But, his pace of narration is not at all good. There are some draggy scenes and the director has focused more on the entertainment which also failed to engage the audience. He also gave equal importance to emotional sequences as well and succeed in handling the story. Production values by SNS Creations will definitely be one of the major highlights of this film. Music by Sai Karthik is good. A couple of songs are impressive and his BGM is also worth appreciating. Cinematographer Sai Sriram has produced some beautiful visuals for this movie. Editing by Chota K Prasad is clean.
Verdict:
The movie starts off an interesting note but the director has failed to engage the audience throughout the film. The first half is very boring and most of the scenes felt a little bit in draggy. The pace of narration will test the patience of the audience. The interval block is good. The second half is just average. The pre-climax and climax are handled well. There are some of the comedy sequences which will evoke some good laughs in the theatres. Lack of proper narration became the biggest minus point of this film. Performances and BGM will be the plus points of this film. On the whole, 'Tenali Ramakrishna BA BL' is a movie just an average movie and can be skipped.
