Free three-day coffee barista training held

Read how the APCRDA Social Development Department, Kaapi Solutions, and SRM University–AP joined forces to host a free 3-day barista training program to boost employment and entrepreneurship for youth in Amaravati.

Training programme being held
A three-day free Coffee Barista skills training programme was organised for unemployed youth from the Amaravati capital region with the aim of enhancing their employment and self-employment opportunities.
The programme was jointly organised by the APCRDA Social Development Department, Kaapi Solutions, Bengaluru, and SRM University–AP from Monday to Wednesday.
As many as 30 candidates participated in the training, which was conducted by two expert trainers from Kaapi Solutions. The participants received practical training in coffee barista skills, coffee brewing techniques, beverage preparation and customer handling, among other areas. As part of the programme, the candidates were also given an understanding of allied skills and various self-employment opportunities in the coffee business.
The trainers provided guidance on setting up and operating coffee shops and cafes, enabling participants to explore entrepreneurship in the sector.
APCRDA Social Development Group Director V Ramulu visited the training programme and interacted with the participants. Ramulu said the APCRDA Social Development Department would continue organising such skill development programmes for unemployed youth in the Amaravati capital region.
