Woman dies after RMP injection; first aid center sealed
Anantapur: An elderly woman named Narasamma died in Anantapur after an RMP at ‘Meghana First Aid Center’ administered an injection for joint pain and breathlessness.
Following the fatality, DM&HO Dr Katta Venkateswarlu ordered the immediate sealing of the facility near Tadipatri bus stand.
Urban Health Center Medical Officer Dr Naga Jyothi and District Mass Media Officer E Nagaraju sealed the premises on Sunday morning and issued a show-cause notice to operator G Ramana. DM&HO Dr Venkateswarlu warned that criminal cases will be filed against any RMP or first-aid center illegally dispensing allopathic treatments, injections, or steroids.
