MLA arranges Veligonda tour for TDP cadre

Guntur: Guntur:West MLA Galla Madhavi described the Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu as “Apara Bhagiratha,” who has the vision and determination to transform the drought-prone regions of Prakasam and Rayalaseema into lush green areas like Konaseema.

As a token of appreciation for the Telugu Desam Party leaders and activists who successfully completed the door-to-door campaign titled “coalition government at every doorstep – welfare achievements” in the Guntur West constituency, she organised a tour to the Veligonda Project and Srisailam. She flagged off 10 buses from her camp office at Srinivasa Rao Peta here on Sunday. About 450 TDP leaders and activists participated in the tour. As part of the tour, the party cadres visited the Veligonda Project and inspected the main tunnel area, water-flow channels, feeder canals, the 40-km main canal system and other features of the project. Later, they visited the Srisailam temple and offered prayers to Sri Bhramaramba Mallikarjuna Swamy.
