Hyderabad: A two-year-old baby boy, who reportedly consumed cyanide at a jewellery shop on Friday, died on Saturday while undergoing treatment. The incident took place in Jeedimetla police limits and it came to light after the boy died. According to police, the deceased was identified as Misha, parents Gopi Krishna and Janaki, residents of Jeedimetla. On Friday, mother along with the baby boy went to a jewellery shop in Chintal to purchase articles. When mother was busy shopping, the boy went to a room where he noticed cyanide and consumed it.
However, the mother was unable to notice it. Hours after consuming the cyanide, the boy was unconscious and developed complications. He was shifted to a hospital and he died while undergoing treatment. A case of suspicious death was registered by the police following a complaint lodged by mother.
A 25 year-old newly married woman was crushed to death under wheels of a speeding RTC bus at D Mart crossroads in Chaderghat police limits on Saturday. The deceased was identified as Lavanya, resident of Saroornagar. She got married to Srikanth on August 30. When Lavanya was riding on a two wheeler vehicle, it skidded and she fell from the vehicle. Meanwhile, a speeding RTC bus ran over her. In the mishap, Lavanya died on the spit receiving serious head injuries. Following the mishap, family members of Lavanya were shocked after Lavanya died just two months after she got married. Police registered a case against the bus driver for causing death.
