4 to 6 feet Ganesh Idols Distributed for Free

Hyderabad: The BJP state general secretary N Gautam Rao along with the Hyderabad Central District Treasurer A Suryaprakash Singh distributed 4 to 6 feet height eco-friendly idols of Lord Ganesha the devotees gearing up for the Ganeshotsav starting from Monday.

The idols were being distributed at the Barkatpura Chaman during the last two days. Talking to the media, Gautam Rao said that the government should not create obstacles to the organizers of the renowned Bhagyanagar Ganesh Utsavs by imposing restrictions. The government should extend its full support and cooperation to ensure the festivities are conducted successfully. Despite the Vinayaka Chaturthi festival approaching, many areas were facing difficulties due to a lack of road repairs and non-functional streetlights. Repairs to roads and street lights must be undertaken on a war footing, he said.

The BJP leader said that overhanging tree branches along the roads must be trimmed to facilitate the transportation of Ganesh idols. Measures must be taken to prevent sewage overflow on the roads. High priority should be given to organizing programs that foster spirituality and patriotism at the Ganesh pandals.

Rao said that it was heartening to see the distribution of 5-6 foot Vinayaka idols to the youth from various colonies, neighborhoods, and apartment complexes in Barkatpura. Such initiatives contribute to further enhancing the spirit of the festivities. BJP Sports Cell State Convener Chitti Sridhar, former Corporator K Umarani, women's leader Suman Singh, BJP leaders Kanne Ramesh Yadav, Shyam Raj, Nandakishore Yadav, Sunil, SS Ramu, and Satyendra Singh, Yuva Morcha leader Ashish Raj Singh, and others participated in this program.
