Asifabad: Kumram Bheem Asifabad District Collector K. Haritha warned that strict action would be taken against officials found negligent in discharging their duties during surprise inspections of the Primary Health Sub-centre and Ashram School at Movad village in Asifabad mandal on Thursday. At the health sub-centre, the Collector expressed displeasure over poorly maintained OP and stock registers, missing medicine records and the absence of staff attendance entries for the past 10 days. She ordered that the concerned staff be marked absent.
At the Ashram School, she reviewed teaching standards and basic amenities. Noting that only 58 students were attending despite 10 teachers being posted, she directed officials to improve attendance. She also instructed them to ensure quality mid-day meals and safe RO drinking water for students. Later, she reviewed the ongoing SIR process and urged villagers to complete family registrations and submit details to the concerned Booth Level Officers (BLOs).
