Police arrested BRSV activists who attempted to lay siege to the Telangana Assembly. Leaders of the BRS student wing tried to storm the Assembly to demand a resolution to issues faced by polytechnic students.
Police intercepted them at LB Stadium. The student wing demanded the immediate cancellation of GO 97 and the release of pending fee reimbursement dues.
A scuffle ensued between the students and the police during the incident. Authorities took the activists, including BRSV State President Gellu Srinivas Yadav, into custody.
