Hyderabad: Jubilee Hills police on Monday served notices to the accused involved in a violent altercation at Cara Cara pub, ordering them to appear before investigating officers for questioning. The establishment, owned by a senior Congress leader, faces legal action alongside individuals involved in the clash. Jubilee Hills Inspector M Satyanarayana confirmed that notices were issued following the registration of three separate cases, including a suo-moto case against miscreants for indulging in a public scuffle and two additional cases based on formal complaints.

Police revealed that several customers suffered bleeding injuries during the fight, adding that medical reports are being gathered to assist the probe. Investigators also retrieved CCTV footage from the venue and surrounding premises to establish the sequence of events. Furthermore, police initiated proceedings against Cara Cara pub management for operating beyond permitted hours without obtaining mandatory official sanctions for extended operations.

The violence involved two distinct groups engaging in a physical altercation, prompting the suo-moto affray registration. Another case involving assault and criminal damage was registered following a complaint filed by Wasim Khan, who alleged that miscreants attacked him and his friend in the parking area. The assailants intercepted their vehicle, assaulted the occupants, and damaged the car. Police confirmed that comprehensive investigations remain underway, with CCTV analysis and medical documentation expected to guide further legal action against all identified offenders involved in the incident across Jubilee Hills.
