Hyderabad: Chief Secretary Sanjay Jaju directed officials to fully digitise information pertaining to government employees through the e-Human Resource Management System (e-HRMS) to ensure more transparent administration in the State. The process should be completed by October 15.
The Chief Secretary on Thursday held a review meeting with senior officials of all departments on the implementation of e-HRMS and digital processes in government departments.
The officials were instructed to make information relating to government employees’ recruitment, service records, salaries and allowances, promotions, ACRs and other employee-related services available on a single digital platform.
Officials informed Sanjay Jaju that data pertaining to approximately 3.48 lakh government employees across the state is being entered into e-HRMS. They informed that around 93 per cent of the data relating to a total of 38,710 offices has already been completed. The Chief Secretary directed officials to complete the remaining process by the time of deadline. Sanjay Jaju also ordered the Finance department to bring e-Sanction orders completely into the digital mode. He also directed officials to integrate systems so that processes related to all financial services, sanctions and payments are carried out online. He further directed officials to ensure that DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) sanctions provided directly to beneficiaries are processed transparently through Aadhaar-based authentication. Every department should also appoint a Nodal Officer for effective implementation of e-HRMS and other digital processes.
