HYDRAA secures Rs 400-cr government land in Madhapur
Hyderabad: HYDRAA secured over two acres of prime government land worth approximately Rs 400 crore in Khanamet village of Madhapur under Serilingampally mandal in Ranga Reddy district on Thursday by clearing alleged encroachments.
Acting on a request from local revenue authorities, HYDRAA personnel removed blue-sheet fencing and temporary structures erected around the land. The agency subsequently installed protective fencing and signboards identifying the parcel as government property to prevent further encroachments. According to officials, revenue authorities had earlier faced resistance, with encroachers attempting to occupy the land and constructing a compound wall. Following a favourable judicial outcome in the property dispute, HYDRAA Commissioner AV Ranganath directed teams to act on the revenue officials’ request.
