Radium jackets distributed to sanitation workers
Mainampally Hanumantha Rao, Malkajgiri MLA, distributed radium jackets to GHMC sanitation workers in a programme organised here at Mini Tank Bund on Monday. He attended the programme as the chief guest.

Speaking on the occasion, the MLA congratulated Wonderla, which has come forward to give free jackets to sanitation workers. He said that sanitation workers had been working sincerely to keep the city clean and such efforts are necessary to support them.
MHO Nirmala, sanitary supervisor Ravinder and several TRS leaders attended the programme.Later, Hanumantha Rao, along with the local corporator Akula Narsimha Rao, inaugurated the underground drainage works taken up at Venkateshwar Nagar of East Anandbagh division and Vasanth Nagar with an estimated cost of Rs 15 lakhs each.
Speaking on the occasion, the MLA said that the state government has been trying to find permanent solutions to the local issues such as drainage and drinking water. He urged people to contact him or local corporator in case of any local issue.Former corporator Prem Kumar, Naveen, Niranjan, Naresh, Srinivas, Satish Kumar and TRS leaders participated in the programme.
