TG BJP President NRR arrested from going to Jurala
Jedcherl: Tension prevailed following the arrest of State BJP Chief N Ramchander Rao on Tuesday.
Earlier, Rao along with the party leaders were going to Jurala irrigation project to express solidarity to the farmers protesting there demanding the release of water to the fields under the Jurala Project.
Following his arrest Ramachander Rao lashed out at the Congress-led State government for failing to address farmers woes. Further, he questioned the illegal detentions peventing to reachout farmers to take stock of problems they face.
Meanwhile, the BJP leaders too questioned stopping Rao and demanded the government to immediately address the problems faced by the farmers.
BJP demands that the voice of the farmers should not be suppressed and warned to intensify their agitation in support of the protesting Jurala farmers.
