Kadapa:As part of Bricks Sustainable Lifestyle Week (November 1–7), Regional Office of Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control Board (APPCB), Kadapa, organised an awareness programme on single-use plastic at Sri Bijivemula Veera Reddy Raithu Bazaar on Thursday.
Sudha Kuruba, Environmental Engineer, APPCB, Kadapa, educated farmers, vendors and visitors on the harmful effects of single-use plastics and urged them to use reusable cloth bags. Cloth bags were distributed to promote eco-friendly shopping habits and reduce plastic pollution.
