‘Invest Kadapa’ centre inaugurated
Kadapa: District Collector Dr Sridhar Cherukuri inaugurated ‘Invest Kadapa’ Centre at the Collectorate on Wednesday, aimed at transforming Kadapa into a major industrial, commercial and investment hub in South India.
The Collector said the centre would provide end-to-end support to investors, from land identification and infrastructure details to statutory approvals and coordination with various government departments. A dedicated digital portal will provide information on available land, water, power and road connectivity on a single platform.
He said the initiative would support investments not only in industries but also in renewable energy, minerals, mining, tourism, commerce and real estate. Special focus would also be given to developing skilled manpower for industries through coordination with educational and technical institutions.
He also announced that ‘Startup Kadapa’ would soon be launched to encourage local youth, students and aspiring entrepreneurs. He expressed confidence that the combined initiatives would accelerate economic growth, attract investments and create more employment opportunities in the district.
Joint Collector Dr Nidhi Meena, Sub-Collector HS Bhavana, industrialists, investors, entrepreneurs and officials participated in the programme.
