Karimnagar: Elaborate security arrangements are being made for Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s visit to Karimnagar on October 4 to attend the silver jubilee celebrations of Prathima Institute of Medical Sciences.

An Advance Security Liaison (ASL) meeting was held under the supervision of Karimnagar Police Commissioner Gaush Alam to review security measures for the visit. Officials discussed arrangements at the event venues, helipad, meeting venue, parking areas and entry and exit routes.

Commissioner Gaush Alam directed officers and personnel deployed for security duties to work in close coordination and thoroughly review their respective responsibilities in advance to ensure there were no gaps in the arrangements.

During his visit, Amit Shah is scheduled to attend the silver jubilee celebrations of Prathima Medical College, lay the foundation stone for the Prathima Deemed University building and unveil the silver jubilee commemorative pylon. He is also scheduled to visit a photo exhibition and interact with students.

Senior police officials, representatives of various departments and representatives of Prathima Medical Sciences attended the ASL meeting.
