Minister Ponguleti Felicitates SDRF Personnel for Meritorious Flood Rescue Services

SATTHUPALLI ( Khammam): Telangana Revenue, Housing and Information Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy has lauded the services of State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) personnel who risked their lives while carrying out rescue and relief operations during the recent heavy rains and floods in Khammam and Bhadradri Kothagudem districts.

The Minister said the dedication, courage and commitment displayed by SDRF personnel in protecting people during the emergency were commendable and their services would remain unforgettable.

On Thursday, Minister Ponguleti, accompanied by Satthupalli MLA Dr Matta Ragamayi, Aswaraopeta MLA Jare Adinarayana and Bhadradri Kothagudem District Collector Ankit, inspected the flood situation at Bethupalli Big Tank in Satthupalli mandal.

Later, they visited the breach-hit areas near Mallepula vagu and Musalibandham tank in Dammapeta mandal and reviewed the flood situation and ongoing relief measures.

During the visit, the Minister specially appreciated SDRF personnel who participated in rescue operations in the affected areas. He felicitated them by presenting shawls in recognition of their services.

Ponguleti said the personnel had demonstrated exceptional courage and dedication while responding to the flood emergency and working to safeguard public lives. He conveyed the State government’s appreciation to the SDRF teams for their commitment and bravery in discharging their duties under challenging circumstances.
