Penukonda: Emphasizing that progress and public welfare remain the government’s top priorities, State Minister for Handlooms and BC Welfare Savita stated that the alliance administration has consistently shunned vendetta politics in favor of comprehensive development.

During a tour of Wards 17 and 18 in Penukonda Municipality on Wednesday, Minister Savita inaugurated newly completed CC roads and celebrated the permanent resolution of a severe 35-year-old drainage crisis alongside delighted local residents.

She also inspected a newly built commuter bus shelter at Ambedkar Circle funded through personal contributions and reviewed potential development plans for the local Junior College grounds.

Addressing the media, the Minister announced that Rs. 20 crore has been sanctioned for municipal development works, which will commence shortly to upgrade civic infrastructure.

Highlighting welfare milestones, she noted that 90 percent of the ‘Super Six’ election promises have already been fulfilled, with house possession documents issued to 1,200 eligible families.

Contrasting the current administration with past practices, Savita asserted that the government refuses to engage in vindictive politics, choosing instead to present its tangible record of public service to the electorate. Alliance leaders and local officials accompanied the Minister during the tour.
