Education should not be restricted to children from affluent families, and every child should have access to quality education irrespective of their social or economic background, he said He said special attention was being given to providing basic infrastructure for girl students, including toilets and other essential facilities. An integrated residential school was also proposed for Mahabubnagar, with efforts underway to secure around Rs 200 crore.

He also said Rs 100 crore had been secured for the development of Palamuru University, including engineering, law colleges and hostels.
Yennam further said special efforts had been made to bring a Triple IT to Mahabubnagar. The campus would provide advanced facilities and create opportunities for thousands of students, he said. He said professional-course coaching was being provided to students of government junior colleges and around 150 students had qualified for various professional courses in the first year itself. The achievements of MVS Junior College students reflected the dedication of teachers and hard work of students, he said.
Yennam said Mahabubnagar was developing a unique education model by providing technology-based and animated learning material to Class 10 students, identifying talent among Classes 8 and 9 students, using education volunteers to nurture their skills and providing special coaching for scholarship examinations such as NMMS.
