MSR Foundation extends Rs 65,000 aid to nursing student
Mahabubnagar: The MSR Foundation, led by Mahabubnagar Deputy Mayor Marepalli Surender Reddy, extended a financial assistance of Rs 65,000 to orphan student Dobbali Sivaleela from Lakshmipally village of Devarkadra mandal to pursue her nursing education.
Sivaleela, who lost her parents and is currently staying at Touch Orphanage in Mahabubnagar, has joined the General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) course at Jagriti Nursing College, Yenugonda.
Recognising her ambition to build a career in the medical field, MSR Foundation chairperson M Mahathi Reddy came forward to support her education.
The foundation handed over a cheque of Rs 60,000 directly to the college management towards her course fee and provided another Rs 5,000 to Sivaleela for her personal educational expenses.
The Foundation representatives said the assistance would help her continue her studies and work towards becoming financially self-reliant.
