Ex MLA hails BRS efforts for Nakrekal 100-bed hospital

Narketpally (Nalgonda): Former Nakrekal MLA Chirumarthi Lingaiah stated that the 100-bed hospital inaugurated in Nakrekal was largely a project sanctioned and built during the previous BRS government.

Speaking at a press conference in Narketpally on Saturday, he said the hospital was sanctioned in 2022 under former Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and that nearly 80 per cent of the works were completed within a year despite the COVID period. He claimed the remaining works were delayed after the Congress government came to power.

Lingaiah demanded that the government ensure full-fledged services at the hospital by appointing doctors, nurses, technicians and paramedical staff, and by providing medicines and medical equipment.

He also questioned the government over several pending projects, including Udaya Samudram, Aitipamula Lift Irrigation, integrated markets, road works, Ramannapet Area Hospital, Nakrekal Degree College, and temple development works.

The former MLA demanded a white paper detailing fresh development works and funds sanctioned to Nakrekal after Congress came to power.

Welcoming the Chief Minister’s visit, Lingaiah said the government should focus on development and public issues rather than political criticism, and answer the concerns being raised by the people of Nakrekal.
