Municipal Administration Minister Dr P Narayana
Nellore: Municipal Administration Minister Dr P Narayana has criticised YSRCP leaders that they were making baseless allegations as they are afraid of losing elections and want to be in lime light by any means.
Speaking to the media on Wednesday, he stated that as per Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu’s diretives to take up wards’ division and reservations without any political interference, complete freedom was given to the district Collector to complete the process as per rules and regulations.
Clarifying that they didn’t altered the reservations since Deputy Mayor Roop Kumar Yadav want to contest for Mayor post under BC quota. The Mayor post was confirmed as OC General category as per the roster, he clarified.
Narayana added that he didn’t interfered even reservations in several divisions in his constituency were changed. He gave a call to the people to participate in the elections voluntarily and vote for candidates, who strive for public welfare.
