New Delhi: Marking a quarter-century as a head of government, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday coined a new slogan, "We Will Do It," as he reiterated his resolve to transform India into a developed nation by 2047. Addressing the 'Viksit Bharat Sankalp Sabha', Modi asserted that with the collective strength of 140 crore citizens, what once seemed unimaginable is now achievable.

Reflecting on his journey, the Prime Minister noted that when he assumed office as the Chief Minister of Gujarat on October 7, 2001, he had never envisioned completing 25 continuous years leading governments. "I bow before the people of India for their trust in me. For me, the public is God, and party workers are my strength," Modi expressed, adding that his quarter-century of administrative experience is a shared asset belonging to every child of the nation.

During his address, PM Modi outlined a series of ambitious goals for the nation, invoking the spirit of "We Will Do It" across key operational frontiers—ranging from becoming a top three global economy, achieving self-reliance, and establishing India as a global manufacturing hub, to stepping into space and hosting the Olympics. However, the Prime Minister cautioned against political fragmentation and vote-bank tactics during elections, identifying casteist divisions as a major hurdle to national progress. Pointing out that developmental crises affect every citizen equally, he stated, "When a farmer's field lacks water or when electricity fails, it affects everyone regardless of caste or community. If the problem belongs to everyone, the solution must be for everyone." Reaffirming his personal philosophy, Modi credited critics, supporters, and democratic principles for guiding his administrative tenure. "I am a person who lives not for ambition, but for mission," he affirmed, emphasizing that his daily devotion remains rooted in continuous, selfless service for the country. Calling on citizens to channel new energy into national resolutions, he urged the nation to move forward unitedly toward the 2047 milestone.
