Tirumala: Sacred Tirumala resonated with intense devotional fervor on Saturday evening as Sri Malayappa Swamy, taking the rare incarnation of Govardhana Giridhara Sri Krishna, gave a divine darshan to thousands of devotees atop the majestic Pushpa Vimanam during the ongoing Navaratri Brahmotsavams. Flanked by Sri Devi and Bhudevi in the guises of Rukmini and Satyabhama respectively, the deity moved gracefully along the Four Mada Streets.

The procession marked the sixth-day evening celebrations of the Brahmotsavams. Held only once in three years during the auspicious Adhika Masa Navaratri cycle, the Pushpa Vimanam Seva drew immense pilgrim turnout. The architectural highlight of the procession was the magnificent 24-foot-tall floral chariot, measuring 15 feet in length and width and weighing nearly one tonne.

Uniquely fashioned entirely out of coconut-tree leaves, the vimanam was adorned with a vibrant array of traditional flowers, creating a canopy fit for the Lord of the Seven Hills.

Sculptural depictions of deities from the four Yugas and idols of Sri Anjaneya Swamy and Garudalwar embellished the sides of the chariot, adding mythological depth to the celestial procession. Supported by Chennai donor Ram Prasad Bhatt, the elaborate floral arrangement was organized seamlessly by temple authorities.

Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Executive Officer Muddada Ravichandra, Additional Executive Officer Ch Venkaiah Chowdary, along with other senior temple officials and priests, actively participated in the procession, offering prayers as the celestial chariot traversed the Mada Streets to bless the gathered crowds.
