Vijayawada: Indian Bank, one of the leading public sector banks, has been awarded the Second Prize under the Rajbhasha Kirti Award for 2025–26 for outstanding performance in implementing the Official Language Policy.
The bank received the honour for the third consecutive year at the Hindi Diwas celebrations held during the 6th All India Rajbhasha Conference in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra on Wednesday.
Indian Bank Executive Director Shiv Bajrang Singh received the award from Union Ministers of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar and Nityanand Rai in the presence of Rajbhasha Secretary Ansuli Arya.
The bank also released its coffee table book, Main Dilli Hoon. The honour reflects its commitment to promoting Hindi in banking operations and providing “Customer Service in the Customer’s Language.”
Indian Bank’s Corporate Office Chennai also received the TOLIC Rajbhasha Samman in the Best Category, while its Kanchipuram and Puducherry offices were honoured in the Commendable Category for their contributions to implementing the Official Language Policy.
