Vijayawada: A delegation of Vijayawada Utsav organisers met Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay and invited him to participate in the Dasara Sarannavarathri celebrations and Vijayawada Utsav 2.0 to be held in Vijayawada. Vijayawada MP Kesineni Sivanath (Chinni), along with Narasaraopet MP Lavu Srikrishnadevarayalu, Ongole MP Magunta Srinivasulu Reddy and Amalapuram MP GM Harish Balayogi, met the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister in Chennai on Tuesday and extended the invitation.
The delegation urged Vijay to visit Vijayawada during the Dasara festivities, receive the blessings of Goddess Kanaka Durga and experience the city’s rich spiritual, cultural and historical heritage. The organisers said they were looking forward to his participation in Vijayawada Utsav 2.0. Several prominent public representatives, Union Ministers and Chief Ministers of various States have been invited to participate in the Dasara celebrations and Vijayawada Utsav 2.0.
Health Minister Y Satya Kumar Yadav, Vijayawada MP Kesineni Sivanath (Chinni), Amalapuram MP GM Harish Balayogi and Vijayawada Utsav committee member Narasimha Rao extended invitations to Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and Union Ministers Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, G Kishan Reddy and Dr Pemmasani Chandrasekhar.
Union Minister Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu personally met West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari and invited him to the celebrations. Vijayawada Utsav committee members Muthavarapu Murali and Manikantha were present.
